About the Author: Dr. L. Cindy Theroux-Jette, PhD, OT/L, LAc

Dr. L. Cindy Theroux-Jette, PhD, OT/L, LAc became Board Certified in Occupational Therapy in 1992 by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and in 2002 was additionally Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is a registered Occupational Therapist, licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. Her formal education includes a Doctoral degree in Health Psychology, a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Dr. Theroux-Jette was appointed by Governor Lynch to the New Hampshire Board of Acupuncture Licensing in 2012 and currently serves as Chair of the Board. She is President Emeritus of the New Hampshire Acupuncture and Asian Medicine Association (2005-2012). As a dually Board Certified clinician, Dr. Theroux-Jette enjoys utilizing an integrative approach in treating adult and pediatric patients from the Greater Nashua community. Dr. Theroux-Jette honorably served her country in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1989 – 1997 at Naval Air Station South Weymouth, Massachusetts. Presently, she enjoys giving back to the local and global community as a member of the Rotary Club of Nashua. In her personal life, Dr. Theroux-Jette enjoys singing as a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish choir and for hospice patients and their families with the Wellspring Chorus of Home Health and Hospice Care. She follows a pescetarian diet and enjoys nature, hiking and bicycling with her spouse.

She follows a Pesco-Mediterranean diet, and in her free time enjoys nature, photography, and outdoor activities with her spouse, Ernie Jette.
